Human Trafficking in Iowa: What You Can Do?

SHA is hosting a panel titled Human Trafficking in Iowa: What Can You Do? Human trafficking – the illegal trade of people for sexual exploitation or forced labor – is not often thought of as an Iowa problem, yet it does occur in our state. But what can be done about it? Attend the panel to learn more about this problem and find out what you can do!

July Events & Other Summer Updates

Reminder that July’s monthly general meeting is canceled.  Instead, we will hold a focused event-planning committee meeting on Thursday, July 12 at 2:30pm in the Collins Road Panera in Cedar Rapids. We will start planning our next big fundraiser this fall. Any and all brainstormers are encouraged to come and participate!
